This listing is for an individual lesson in 'Zen drawing', in my home in Rijswijk, the Netherlands. If you are interested in having a personal lesson in 'Zen drawing' please contact me via email at info@michelledujardin.nl or by phone at 0622385144.

The lesson includes materials and coffee or tea. It is advisable to have read het Zen tekenboek , or -if you do not read Dutch- The Zen drawing Pack , but this is not a must.

My lessons have a personal character and are aimed at having some fun while learning to draw. You do not have to have any experience in drawing to be able to take part. The lessons are also to experience the peace and quiet of this drawing technique, so I prefer to teach in small groups of max. 4-5 people. If you prefer to have a lesson with a couple of friends or collegues at a location of your choice, please contact me about the details and cost involved.

About the lesson:

In this Zen drawinglesson we start with the basic principles of this drawing technique. We will practice thechniques for quieting your mind and use contour drawing to discover the socalled 'drawingreflex'. We will also work on the drawing and take a look at your personal feelings that may have influenced the final result.

Be aware that I live on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator, so you will have to climb three flights of stairs. I also have some pets, so if you are allergic to either rabbits and/or guinea pigs it might be better to have this lesson at an other location. Please contact me if this the case.

Ofcourse it is possible to schedule lessons on a location of your choosing. Weather permitting it is also possible to have lessons outside in nature. Please contact me with you ideas for possible locations. Zen drawing lessons can also be used by people that want to use this technique in a professional way like teachers and healthcare professionals.
